Selena Gomez takes Instagram title

Selena Gomez just wants to look “Good For You” on the gram.
The singer/actress just beat former love Justin Bieber — and herself — for the title of most liked photo on Instagram.
A picture of Gomez sultrily sipping on a straw from a bottle of Coke bearing a portion of a lyric from her song “MeThe Rhythm” attracted more than 4 million likes.
The image is a nod to the beverage company’s “Share a Coke and a Song” campaign, which used Gomez’s music.
The previous holder of the title was a picture of Gomez in happier days canoodling with her now ex-boyfriend Bieber which he posted months ago. As of Wednesday, that picture had over 3.7 million likes.
Celebs have a love affair with Instagram which allows them to share some of their most intimate (or in some cases intimately staged) moments with their fans.
Here are some of the other pics that, for awhile, were the most liked images on Instagram:
One Direction Kiss
Then-One Direction members Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik scored more than 1 million likes for donning makeup in homage to the band Kiss for Halloween The Biebs and the Fresh Prince
Fans loved a photo of Bieber with Will Smith, which the Biebs captioned “Me and uncle Will.” It has had more than 1.5 million views.
Kimye wedding
When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West smooched after their wedding on May 26, 2014 it was the smooch seen around the Gram. That has been liked more than 2.5 million times.
Kendall Jenner’s hair hearts
Kardashian’s little sister got creative with her hair last year and fans dug it. The photo of Kendall on the floor with her hair in a halo of hearts has more than 3.6 million likes.
